OUR STORY

FEBRUARY 1, 2025

My BIO,

I started in Marital Arts at the age of 14 and have been training ever since. My First instructor was a Torrance police officer named Clain Virgin where we would train on his front lawn. Later as a teenager I trained under Master Bernie Fleeman who I still train with. When my sister passed away in May of 1970 of a drug overdose my parents moved me to Carson City NV, where I met my next instructor Master Tim Brewer who trained me in Wushu. Along with that he trained me in holistic healing arts Tuina. After a brief time I tested in UFAF under Master Reggie Cochran foundered by Chuck Norris.

Being a promoter of the World Championships gave me a great opportunity to future my training with some of the greatest martial artist such as Judo Gene LeBell, Bob Wall, Bill Superfoot Wallace and more. Given my extensive training in numerous martial arts systems, along with two of my fellow instructors Master Tim Brewer and Master Marshall Kentish we formed the Universal System Of America (Uchu Do). Originally USA Karate stood for Universal System of America that made us truly the first MMA style long before UFC was founded. I started the USA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS in 1981 along with International Martial Arts Council. I am the founder of Women Against Rape (WAR) since 1982 for the state of NV. International Martial Arts Council (IMAC) indorses only the finest sports karate tournaments. I created IMAC  because I wanted to bring the fairness back into sport karate. After hosting one of the largest NASKA tournaments and then the largest NBL tournament I got tried of all the politics of seeding competitors and the division that NBL brought to sports karate. No longer were competitors able to attend any tournaments other than NASKA or NBL. This is what almost destroyed tournament competition. No longer were the days where competitors were able to get a fair and unbiased score.

Sincerely Grand Master Stan Witz

International Martial Arts Council

The International Martial Arts Council (IMAC) is the oldest martial arts tournament sanctioning organizations that are still in existence under its original structure and mission. While other organizations have turned their focus to raking the competitors, putting the squeeze on the promoters and working for the dollar, IMAC has continued to work for only one person – the COMPETITOR!

We are the only organization where competitor membership is FREE! Not only is it free, but we also rate competitors from EVERY OTHER ORGANIZATION. If you compete in ANY tournament during the year you qualify to receive a FREE IMAC AWARD in January in Las Vegas. The ability of IMAC members to compete at every organization’s tournament it means that an IMAC Champion is truly a World Champion – no other organization can say that.

In addition to tournament recognition, IMAC has a network of certified instructors across the United States from different styles and systems that share a common goal – quality martial arts!

If you want to find out more about the services IMAC offers to students, promoters and instructors please contact us at 702-738-2507.

The sport of tournament point karate and forms competition has come of age. These sports athletes have advanced to such tremendous skills and artistic levels that the difference between winning and losing is usually determined by a fraction of a second or 1/100th of a point. Therefore, in such a highly competitive sport, It is essential that everyone knows and understands the rules of the game.

We invite all organizations and independent groups large and small to use the IMAC rulebook. We encourage you to take part in this solution of unified tournament rules and we welcome your suggestions, thoughts and ideas to make this great opportunity in reality.
